Properties.
BIO SG used in dipping can effectively remove non-fibrous proteins such as inter-fibrous matter within the skin, accelerate the dipping process and disperse collagen fibers; it is conducive to the penetration and homogeneous action of dipping and grey-soaking materials into the skin;
Application.
BIO SG is mainly used in the water-soaking process of all kinds of raw hides and skins, and its dosage depends on the type, condition and use conditions of raw hides and skins.
BIO SG is highly active in the usual PH range from soaking to softening in the tanning process, the optimum PH range is 8-10, but its activity can still be maintained above 70% at as low as PH 6 and as high as PH 11. Moreover, due to its broad-spectrum proteolytic ability, BIO SG can be used in other processes in some cases.
BIO SG is added directly to the dipping water and does not need to be dissolved. The pH value can be adjusted with alkali substances such as soda ash, sodium hydroxide or alkali sulfide. The pH value of the soaking water is 10.0-10.5 at the beginning of the process and 8.5-9.0 at the end of the process. It can be used with preservatives and surfactants that do not inhibit enzymes.
Storage:
It is recommended to store in a cool, dry place. If stored in an airtight container at a temperature below 25°C, the viability of the product can be maintained for at least one year. Longer storage times or poor storage conditions, including higher temperatures and temperatures, will reduce enzyme vigor, and the dosage of enzyme preparation will need to be adjusted as appropriate for use.
