In the front treatment of leather, it is called fatliquor, alsoknown as "oiling", so that it can absorb the right amount offattened material,restore the original softness and elasticity, andprevent the cracking of the stiff hair plate of the leather.It isendowed with a certain performance of leather. In the previousdegreasing process, we remove the oil in the cells, and here weadd the grease to fill in the middle of the leather fibers,which canreduce the friction of the leather fibers,so that the leatherbecomes soft and full of feel.However, the fatting also makes thepores of the leather reduce and thus reduce the air permeability,because the whole fat (oil) of the leather surface is added to the
bottom of the leather in the drum,if the amount of fat is not wellcontrolled,the leather surface fiber is loose (the industry iscalled:loose surface), the oiliness is too heavy will also affect theeffect of the coating layer attachment on the surface in the laterstage,and the leather embryo is easy to produce mildew spotswhen stored for a long time, reducing the grade of the leather.Too little refueling and not achieving the desired effect. Due tothe influence of the above factors,the leather production processis now generally changed to add a small amount of oil before theleather embryo,which is convenient for the storage of the leatherembryo and the flexible change of post-processing style.
